A plot to bloAv up battleships, the police headquarters and office buildingß is alleged to have been discovered after the arrest of a notorious Leftist terrorist. The police seized bombs Avhich they described as containing enough T.N.T. to bloAv up a large city. They also -closed the offices of the Integralistas in accordance Avith a decree issued last Friday, and seized large quantities of arms, ammunition, and gas-bombs. President Vargas on Friday decreed the dissolution of all political parties, including the Fascist, thus further strengthening the dictatorship and eliminating the remnants of popular suffrage in Brazil.
