MASTERTON SITTING. Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., presided at today’s fortnightly sitting of the Masterton Magistrate’s Court, when cases were dealt with as follows: —• Charged with having driven a motor cycle without due care and attention in Lincoln Road on 10th November, John. Martlew Jenkin was fined £1 and costs. James Arthur Munro was fined 10s and costs for having driven a car inQueen Stret on 28th November without having a driver’s license. Eric Manning, Ernest Roberts and Cyril Henry Thomas were each fined 10s and 10s costs for having ridden cycles without lights being attached thereto. Thomas Wm. Hill was charged with the theft, at Christchurch on 10th November, of a pair of shoes valued at 29s 6d, the property of James Lawrence Connelly. He pleaded guilty.
