There was widespread violence at the Presidential elections. On Sunday at least three persons were killed and many injured. Some 200 Radicals battled with the police at Tres Arroyos. One policeman was killed and five injured. Soldiers quelled the riot. The policeman killed was attempting to arrest a civilian who had fired on a police plane. Violence also broke out in the capital. Demonstrators exploded two bombs and fired shots, wounding a policeman. Riotous bands ,of Radicals were dispersed by means of tear gas and bombs, and several arrests were made.
