SATISFACTORY RECEPTION. ‘ RUGBY, Friday. The subscription lists at the Bank of England for the 24 per cent, national defence loan of £100,000,000 opened and closed yesterday. Dealings started on the Stock Exchange this morning at :} per cent. This is considered to be satisfactory in the temporary adverse conditions of the markets, which have been disturbed by various factors during the week, as well as by end-of-account considerations.
