INFANTILE PARALYSIS
CASE IN NELSON. NELSON, Friday. The first case of 'infantile paralysis in the Nelson district has been admitted to hospital from Owen River, 50 miles from Nelson. The victim is a girl aged 11, who has moderate paralysis of one leg.—(P.A.) PALMERSTON NORTH PATIENT PALMERSTON N., Friday. Another case of infantile paralysis, that of a fifteen-month child, was notified yesterday. —(P.A.) MORE OAMARU CASES. OAMARU, This Day. Three further positive eases of infantile paralysis, the first for over a we k, were sent to the hospital yesterday. Two arc brothers from the town, 9 and 10 years respectively, both showing muscular weakness, and the third is a girl 5 years of age from Bortons. — (P.A.) FIVE WAIKATO CASES. HAMILTON, This Day. Five eases of infantile paralysis were taken to hospital yesterday. Two cases a.re positive. The firs> Hamilton victim, a girl of 11 years, is positive.—(P.A.)
