JOHANNESBURG VENTURE. MESSAGE FROM THE KING. (Received Wednesday, 10 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Tuesday. A message from his Majesty King Edward, expressing the conviction that the exhibition would help to promote Empire trade, on which the welfare of its people largely depended,, was read at- the opening of the Johannesburg Empire Exhibition. Wireless greetings from the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage and the Rt. Hon. J. A. Lyons were heard clearly.
