APPENDICITIS OPERATIONS
ABOARD LINER QUEEN MARY. (Received Tuesday, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON, Monday. The ship’s surgeon operated for appendicitis on both the outward and homeward journeys of the liner Queen Mary’s latest voyage. Tlie operations were carried out while speeding at 29 knots and the conditions were so steady that it was not necessary to slacken speed.
