Further rises in the price of New Zealand butter and cheese were reported on the London market for the wee 1 : ended 14th August, according to the Primary Products Marketing Department’s report. The latest quotations are, those for the previous week being shown in parentheses: —New Zealand salted butter, 118 s,. 119 s—equals approximately 14.1 id f.o.b. (116 s, 117 s), last year, 945, 955; unsalted, 118 s, 119 s (17s, 118 s), last year, 104 s, 106 s. Market steady. Retail prices unchanged. New Zealand, Is 2d; Danish, Is 3d. Cheese: New Zealand white, 68s to 68s 6d, 7.68 d f.o.b. (635, 645), last year 48s, 495; coloured, 64s 6d to 65s 6d, 7.23 d f.o.b. (61s, 61s 6d), last year 475, 48s. Market firm. Retail prices unchanged. New Zealand, 7d and Bd.
