Table tennis matches were played on Saturday night between A and B teams representing the Winter Sports Club and the Mauriceville Club. Winter Sports Club won the A match by. 20 matches and 52 games to 4 matches and 14 games. Following are the section results, the first figures relating to Winter Sports Club: —Men’s singles, 6 matches, 12 games; 0 matches, 3 games. Ladies’ singles, 6 matches, 12 games; 0 matches, 3 games. Men’s doubles, 2 matches, 5 games; 1 match, 2i games. Ladies ’ doubles, 2 matches, 5 games; 1 match, 2 games. Combined doubles, 6 matches, 10 games; 2 matches, 4 games.
Winter Sports also rvon the B mateh by 11 matches and 28 games to 6 matches and 14 games. Combined doubles, 3 matches, 6 games; 0 matches, 1 game. TE ORE ORE V. MAURICEVILLE. In a table tennis match played on Saturday night the Te Ore Ore Club defeated the Mauriceville West Club by 15 games to 9. The following are the section results, the first figure relating to Te Ore Ore: Men’s singles, 5-1; ladies’ singles, 2-4; men’s doubles, 3-0; ladies’ doubles, 1-2; combined doubles, 4-2.
