WOMEN’S MATCH.

N.Z. DEFEAT FIJI.

WELLINGTON, Saturday

The women’s hockey test, New Zealand v. Fiji, played to-day, resulted in a win for New Zealand by four goals to nil. New Zealand had a definite territorial advantage throughout the game, but a stout defence prevented them from scoring until late in the first half, the half-time score being 1/0.
