SOFIA, Friday.^ General Zlatcv’s Cabinet has resigned as a sequel to the earlier resignation of four Ministers a protest against the authorities’ action in arresting several prominent people, including the ex-Premiers, M. Tsankoff and G. Gheorgieff, who are being, interned on the lonely island of St. Anastasia, where there is only a lighthouse.
M. Tsankoff and various associates will be interned because’ they have not dissolved their party, called the Social.' Popular Movement, thereby- violating a decree issued last year. ,M. Gheorgieff and others were arrested for publishing allegations against Gcenral Zlatev and other prominent people. j It is expected that a-military Cabinet will bo installed as the Army Officers* League is at present prominent in politics. The situation is - tense and troops are standing by in the event off emergencies.
