STRUGGLE THROUGH STORM
CATTLEMEN REACH TOWNSHIP. (Received Thursday, 10.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The twelve cattle men, who were held up by a snowstorm, struggled through the snowstorm to Tawonga exhausted by privations. They were forced to' leave the huts, which were almost buried by snow, at the height of the storm because their, food had given out. Two other parties of stockmen also arrived from the-Bogong Ranges. The cattle dogs suffered greatly and when one party reached Tawonga each man was carrying his dog across his saddle.
