MAURICEVILLE NOTES
(Own Correspondent.) Foresters’ Ball. ( The Court Kopuaranga Foresters’ Lodge held a most successful an<| enjoyable ball in tifC* — Maurreeville; East Hall last night. .There were about 80 couples present. The hall was artistically decorated: and the floor was in excellent order. The music sunnlied by Rhythm Boys’ Orchestra was of a high standard. Extras were played by Misses Gapper and J. Milner and Mr Eekold. A Monte Carlo, competition was won by Miss L. McEwcn and Mr N. Clarke.
Mr K. Palmer was an efficient M.C. An excellent supper was provided. Great credit is due to tho energetic and capable committee who worked so hard to make the ball the outstanding success it was, it being tho most successful function held in the district for many years.
