Four of these meetings were held at the school and we appreciate the kindly thought of the Principal, Mrs Cleghorn, in placing such a cheerful room at bur disposal. Early in the year Mrs S. J. Gill resigned from the office of vice-presi-dent and Mrs Rich was elected to fill the vacancy; At a committee meeting it was decided to form an executive committee. The following ladies were elected: Mesdames McLaren, Betts and Peacock together with tho president and secretary. It is a recommendation from the committee that tho general _ committee bo limited to six with president and secretary ex-officio. Thanks aro duo to all who in any way helped to make this function such a success. To Mrs Betts and Miss J. We are indebted to the Old Girls’ Association for their donation of £2O towards the baths. To all who assisted with tho children’s parties on 14th July we extend thanks. A happy time was spent by the children and the sum of £ll was added to the fund for the baths. The light installed outside the entrance of the assembly hall has proved a great advantage during the winter months.
