N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIP. 1 iVi‘ WON BY NEW ZEALANDER. , SYDNEY, Thursday. The women’s swimming championships carnival was concluded at the Coogee Baths to-night. The chief event, the 880 yards championship of New South Wales, was won by the New Zealander, Mona Leydon, from Marion Cockburn and Hazel Wagner by 25 yards. Time, 12min 35 3-5 secs. Miss Leydon also competed in a heat of the hundred yards, in which she finished third.
