DAMAGE TO HOOD
HEAVY REPAIR BILL. LONDON, Thursday. The First Lord of tho Admiralty (Sir Eyres Monsell) stated in the House of Commons, in answer to a question that the approximate cost of making good the damage to H.M.S. Hood (which collided with H.M.S. Renown), was £BOOO.
