Sir, —Have we citizens of Alasterton decided —by the inaction of our elected executive, the Borough Council—that no action shall be taken to cheek the overflow of flood waters into the town? The last demonstration, when the Park, Cemetery and streets were inundated, is not an isolated instance.

The inattention of the borough authorities appears to be deliberate, which prompts this warning to my fellow citzens. —I am, etc.,
