The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board lias received the following market report from its London office dated loth February (last week’s prices in parentheses):— Butter: New Zealand salted, SB/90/-, equals approximately 10.36 d f.o.b. (89/-, 90/-) —last year, 69/70/-; unsalted, 94/-, 96/- (94/96/-) —last year, 72/74/-. Deliveries New Zealand, 2181 tons —last year, 2050 tons. In store Now Zealand, 5325 tons —last year, 6300 tons. Includes 1888 tons “Norfolk,” “Mahana.” Australian salted, 88/89/-; unsalted, 92/93/-. Deliveries Australian, 3068 tons—last year, 2600 tons. In store Australian, 3745 tons—last year, 7550 tons. Argentine unsalted, 92/-. Danish, 94/- f.0.b., 115/116/- spot. (99/-, 120/-). Dutch unsalted, 103/107/- (103/-, 107/-). Lithuanian salted, 90/-; unsalted, 98/-. Market quiet. Retail prices unchanged, New Zealand, lid; Danish, 1/2.

Cheese: New Zealand white, 48/6, 49/- to 49/6, equals approximately s)d f.o.b. (47/6, 48/-) —last year, 43/43/6; coloured, 48/6, 49/- (47/48/-) —last year, 46/-. Deliveries New Zealand, 20,131 crates—last year, 20,217 crates. In store New Zealand, 128,956 crates —last year, 61,000 crates. Includes 24,950 crates Pt. Campbell, Pt. Fairy, Mataroa. Australian white, 47/47/6 (46/-); coloured, 46/6, 47/- (59/60/-). Canadian white, 60/- (58/00/-); coloured, 60/62/(59/60/-). Deliveries Canadian, 5336 boxes—last year, 6350 boxes. In store Canadian, 108,163 boxes—last year, 164,657 boxes. Market steady. New Zealand retail price unchanged, 6d. English finest farmers, 82/90/- (quiet) (82/90/-). English factory cheese, 40/-, 45/- (44/-)._ Butter shipments to New York last week 22,600 boxes. This week estimate approximately 10,000 boxes although no sales reported—probably carry* over of last'week’s sales.

The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada:—Butter: New York, 364 cents; Montreal, 25 cents. TJ.S.A. stocks, 8475 tons (last year, 33,926 tons). Canadian stocks, 9975 tons (last year, 6428 tons). The minimum f.o.b. prices for period from 16th February until further notice: —Butter 10-}d less 14 per cent, commission (83/6 c.i.f.e.); cheese, 5 3-8 d less 14 per cent, commission (4,6/10 c.i.f.e.)
