WAIPUKURAU CRIMES. WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Thiei-es early this morning broke into Yates’ Cash Stores through a skylight, stealing practically all the tobacco in stock, and also entered W. Boyers’ bilHard saloon by a rear Avindoiv, but nothing is missing. From a petrol pump outside Wells garage 25 gallons of benzine Avere stolen. It is understood that the nightwatchman became suspicious incidental to this episode, and advised the police. The constable at Talcapau stopped a soutliAvard car, and tAvo men in it ran aAvay. —(P.A.)
