CARTERTON SALE. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report: —We held our weekly sale at Carterton yesterday, when we offered a yarding to a good attendance. Sheep sold at par rates. Weancr pigs were a little easier, although porkers were iirmer. Cattle sold at about last week's prices. Practically a total clearance was effected as under:— Sheep: 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 8s 7d to Ss 8d; fat lambs, 11s to 12s; fat ewes, os to 5s 3d. Pigs: Weaners, Bs, 8s fid, .Os, 10s to 11s; slips, 12s, 13s to 15s; porkers, light, 10s (id to 20s; porkers, 245. Cattle: .Springing heifers, £2 10s; store cows, los; forward cows, 30s. .Poultry: Turkye gobblers, 10s to 11s (id; geese, 4s Gd to ss.
