SCHEMES CRITICISED. BY TRADES UNION COUNCIL. LONDON, Friday. _ The Trades Union Congress Council, in its report, condemns all employers’ sports and welfare schemes as exerting an insidious influence definitely tending to Aveaken trades unions. The council further attacks schemes for co-operation and thrift, “as the more financial interest workers are induced to have in a firm the greater •will be their reluctance in anywise, to ■endanger the firm’s profit-making activities. ’ ’
