SYDNEY SALES. SYDNEY, Wednesday. At the wool sales to-day 7212 bales were offered, of which 4804 were sold at auction; also 1265 privately. With animated competition from Yorkshire and Japan, the market generally was firm at late rates. Greasy merino sold up to 17:}d.
