COMMUNITY SING
TO-MORROW NIGHT. ' The Empire Shopping Week will culminate with a popular community sing and presentation of prizes in the Municipal Hall to-morrow night. Prominent song leaders and instrumentalists will assist. The prizes will be presented by tlie Mayor (Mr T. Jordan), who will take tlie opportunity of congratulating tle Municipal Band on their recent contest success. . „ The Municipal Band, under Mr j. Young, will play two selections during the evening. . The Pipe Band, under Pipe-Major Murdo McKenzie, will parade the town and play outside the hall prior to the sing. , „, - The doors will be open at t.lo o’clock.
