THEFT CHARGES
SENT TO GAOL,
PALMERSTON N., This Day. In the Magistrate’s Court, Alexander Graham and John Percival Kilmartin were charged with the theft at Ka.paroro in the Eketahuna district, ot two cheques,silver watch, and a sum of money; with having attempted to obtain cash by falsely representing that a cheque was lawfully in their possession, and also with the theft of a bicycle at Masterton. . , “ They were sentenced to six months imprisonment on the first charge, and one month on the second (concurrent), and-one month on the third (cumula-tive).—(P-A.)
