NEW ZEALAND MEETING. AUCKLAND, Saturday. The New Zealand Amateur Atii.ctie championships were concluded at the Domain to-day in fine weather. The attendance was over 7000. Two brilliant performances wore registered in the 220 yards and 440 yards respectively by Elliot, Auckland, and Black (West Coast). Elliot’s time was the best ever done by a New Zealander. Black beat tho quarter mile rejtord by two-fifths of n second. These two records, combined with Elliot’s O 4-5 secs, for the 100 yards on the first day, which equalled the- record, are all going forward for recognition.
