MARTINBOROUGH SALE. Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd , report: —We offered a yarding of 3778 mixed sheep at Martinborouglr yesterday to a good attendance. There was a keen demand for breeding ewes, prices being better than "Wednesday s Masterton sale. Our entry included some pens of good wethers and lambs, but for these there was a restricted demand, and prices were somewhat easier We made a total clearance as under:—Ac. R. McLeod, 156 2-tootlr ewes, at 14s■ 32 4 and 6-tootlr ewes, 9s 6d. Ac d ' A. W. McConnell, 62 2 and 4too'th ewes (small), 6s lOd; 102 wether lambs, 6s. Ac. John Taylor, 129 o-vear ewes 5s 2d. Ac. A.
