AUSTRALIAN RACING. SYDNEY, Tuesday. At Randwick to day the main events resulted as follow: — Anniversary Handicap. —Satmoth 7.7 (Knox) 1, Denis Boy 8.9 (Seahill) 2, J'eypore 5.13 (Coon) 3. Nine started, including Loquacious and Yertigern. Most of the running was made by .leypore and Boscndo. Entering the straight, Satmoth drew level with the leaders, and although Denis Boy threw out a challenge, Satmoth drew away and won with the greatest of ease .by five lengths, with Denis Boy three lengths ahead of Jeypore. Boscndo was fourth, then Inducement. Yertigern was seventh. Time, 2.31 A. Hoots and countcr-clieers greeted Satmoth on his return to the scale. Kurncll Handicap. —Tom Pinch 9.0 (Cook) 1, Holdfast 9.7 (Simpson) 2, Orby Antlius 7.S (Knox) 3. Thirteen started, including Hunt the Slipper. A head, and two lengths. Time, 1.10?.
Adrian Knox Stakes. —Gallantie 8.7 (Duncan) I, Golden Gate 5.5 (J. Mun ro) 2, Largesse 8.5 (McCarten) 3. Fifteen started. Five lengths and twe lengths. Time, r.37A.
