The Under-Secretary for State (Mr Castle) declared that the United States Government has no attitude to express concerning tile postponement of the LausaiiliO Conference and no opinion to offer as to whether postponement was a necessity or a good omen or bad.
LOAN TO FRANCE. ENGLAND NOT RENEWING. LONDON, Friday. Tho “Financial News” says any suggestion that the Bank of England will renew part of the remaining French credit, amounting to £30,000,000, is discredited in London banking circles, where it is taken for granted that the whole amount will be repaid on January 31st.
