LONDON SALES. BETTER TONE.' LONDON, Tuesday. Offerings at the London wool sale were 9294 bales, including 11SS New Zealand. There was good Yorkshire and Continental competition, and rates were fully maintained. Realisations: New Zealand, halfbred slipes, “Ivaiapoi,” lli- to IIUI. SYDNEY SALES. KEEN DEMAND FOR FINE SORTS. SYDNEY, Wednesday'. At the wool sales to-day 10,655 bales' were offered and 9875 sold at auction; 'also 468 bales sold privately. All the best features dominated today’s auctions, a pleasing aspect being a special inquiry for all fine to superfine wools on German, French, and Yorkshire account. Japanese buyers still operated on suitable lines. Greasy merino made up to 23|d.
