TRAWLERS SUNK
A NAPIER INCIDENT.
NAPIER, Monday,
Two steam trawlers, the Sir William Wallace and the Result, were sunk at the inner harbour during the week-end. It is believed the seacocks of the Sir William Wallace, the larger boat, were opened, and her sinking compelled the other boat, to which she was moored, to heel over.
Both boats the property of the New Zealand Trawling Company. — (P.A.)
