With the help of the heads of departments, typists, and other free labour, the newspaper “West Australian’’ ..produced an eight-page issue to-day. vJp'The afternoon paper, the “Daily News,” is managing to produce a small paper in similar fashion. The strikers are picketing both offices. The “West Australian” has received 300 applications from skilled operators and others, offering their services. CONTROL OF STRIKES. GOVERNMENT TO REPEAL ACT. A SYDNEY, Friday. The Lang Government has decided to repeal the Crimes Intimidation and Molestation Act passed by the Bavin Government in 1929 during the timber workers’ strike. The Act prevents mass picketing and unlawful assemblies, or the molestation of free labourers in times of strikes -y or lock-outs.
