The majority of those present hooted Scott’s poor showing. The winner was promised a chance of fighting Camera. NEW ZEALANDER WINS BOUT. SYDNEY, Sunday. ' At the Sydney Stadium on Saturday night, Alan Edgecoek (9.12) defeated Len Boon (9.9) on points in a scheduled ten-rounds contest, which went the full distance. In the preliminary bouts, a New Zealander, Harry Nichol (Southland) easily defeated, on points, Jack Williams, in a four-rounds contest.
