TRUST LANDS TRUST.
MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the Trust Lands Trust was held last night, Mr .J. M. 'Coradine presiding in the absence of the chairman, Mr R. Krahagen. Other Trustees present were Messrs E. G. Eton, J. M. Coradine, T. P. Watson, W. 11. .Jackson, .1. L. Hughes and T. Wagg. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs R. Krahagen, fs. ,L. P. Free and D. Caselberg. The District Public Trustee forwarded a statement of the sinking fund account, showing a credit balance of £904 12s 3d as at March 3.lst, 1931. The Masterton Plunket Society made an application for a renewal of the annual grant for .1931-32, and also extended an invitation to the Trustees to visit the Plunket Room. It was decided to place the grants on the estimates. The invitation from the Plunket Society was accepted.
Applications for renewals of grants were also received from the Boy .Scouts ’ Association and the Workers’ [Educational Association. The latter forwarded a copy of the audited balance sheet for the past year, showing a credit of £4 2s 3d. The finance committee's report, which was adopted, stated that the rentals received for the period from March 3rd to 31st amounted to £1077> 17s lOd. A debit balance of £1437 17s od was reported on the ordinary account, and a credit balance of £2692 ISs od in the scholarships account, and on the Cameron Park account a credit of £l7 lbs. Accounts amounting to £SU 13s _lod were -passed for payment.
Other matters in connection with Trust property were dealt with.
