HIGHWAY REVENUE.

£951,500 FOR HALF-YEAR. The Main Highways Board decided last week to make a tour of the East Coast districts of the North Island late in November. A half-yearly statement up to September 30 shows receipts amounting to £545,000 from petrol taxes, £354,000 from motor registration fees, £52,500 from tyre tax..
