This is how to raise STURDY 4 CHICKS! If they are incubator chicks, jive only baby grit and charcoal ,for the first two days, with fresh water and irilk in separate containers. Two to fourteen days. Put “'STURDY” Starting Mash Dry before them every three hours—by the clock —first feed at 6 a.m., and leave before chicks for about twenty minutes. Fourteen days to eight weeks. Keep “STURDY” Growing Mash constantly before the chicks. There is buttermilk in the Mash, but .additional milk will not do them any harm. The Slash is all that is necessary for the chicks’ growth. Do not give scratch food till four weeks oid, and then feed “STURDY” Chick Food, gradual'*' working into the whole grain. Don't forget the grit! At eight weeks. Cotnmene* feeding “STURDY” Laying Mash, keep before the chicks constantly. Ali these mashes can with advantage he mixed with skim-milk.
