FASCISTS AGAIN.
WOMEN AND SPORT. LONDON, Saturday. According to the Rome correspondent of “The-Times,” the Fascist Grand Council holds- that anything ieading woman from her natural and fundamental mission of maternity should be avoided, and is ordering the Italian Olympic Committee to reconsider women’s athletic v activities, with the assistance of competent sporting and medical authorities. The newspaper “Osservatore Romano” urges the Fascists also to take up the moral aspects of the problem, especially by preventing’women from assisting at public gymnastic competitions, which are not in keping with their spiritual welfare.
