PRISONER’S APPEAL.
SENTENCE OF DEATH ASKED FOR. PARIS, Friday. Conrad Koch, who last March shot a gunsmith in his Paris shop for the purpose of robbery and was sentenced to imprisonment, appealed twice tohave the sentence of death instead. He declares that thinking over the crime he does not see why he should not die. Thus far the authorities have not met his wish.
