BETTING RAID.
ON RANDWiCK HOTEL. TWO PERSONS ARRESTED. Press Association Electric Telegraph—Copyright .SYDNEY, Sunday. Disguised in tennis flannels and blazers, the police yesterday afternoon carried out one of the biggest betting raids in the history of the State at the Hotel Kensington, close to the Randwick racecourse. Two hundred men and Avomen were arrested on tho flat roof of the fourth story. Ttvelve vans conveyed them to police headquarters and four hours Avere occupied in charging them Avith having been found Avithout lawful excuse on premises used for betting. Seven others Avere charged with having used tho premises for betting.
