HAWKE’S BAY MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HA STINGS, Saturday. The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s winter meeting concluded to-day. An enquiry was held at the conclusion of the June Steeples into alleged interference in the straight in the run home botween Brigadier Bill and Sir Moment. The Judicial Committee decided that there was interference between two very tired horses, but that it was accidental. No action was taken. The totalisator handled £10,146 for the day.
