The Senior Tourist Trophy race in the Isle of Man resulted as follows: W. Handley, 74.24 m.p.h 1 G. Walker, 73.10 m.p.h -. 2
J. Simpson, 72.70 m.p.h. 3 J. Coleman (New -Zealand) retired owing to valve trouble; There were many crashes during the race, and a number Of riders were injured.

The International Motor yachting Union has accepted the late Sir Henry Segrave’s speed of 98.7 miles per hour as the world’s unlimited speed record.
INTERNATIONAL RACE. MANY THRILLS. (Received Monday, 12.50 p.m.) PARIS, Sunday. In the twenty-four hours’ international motor car race, Captain Woolf Barnato and Commander Glen Kidston, driving a Bentley machine, covered 1832 miles, averaging 76.32 miles hourly. Another Bentley car was second, and a Talbot machine third. This is Britain’s fourth successive victory, likewise Barnato’s fourth win. There many thrills in an allnight fight for supremacy. An American Stutz car burst into flames when taking a bend.
