A JAPANESE OPINION.
VICTORIA (8.C.), Saturday.
"World peace can never be assailed with. Britain, the United States, and Japan standing together,” said Prince Iyesato Tolcugawa, President of the Japanese House of Peers, who arrived on Saturday by the Empress of Russia.
"With these three nations welded together by friendship, the peace of the world can. be maintained,” he added. "Japan desires to be friendly with other countries, and has always been to the forefront in endeavours to bring about, international unity. ’ ’
