Reminding the public prosecutors throughout the country that the laws must be applied firmly, the head of the department circularised them, insisting that they must put an end to attacks on the King, threats, calumnies, seditious cries and all acts against tho Dictatorship or social order, or the King’s or Government’s prestige. Public prosecutors also arc ordered to scrutinise the newspapers carefully and take proceedings even whore newspaper contents have passed the censorship. Thus political propaganda is subjected to a double check.
