Stock has been removed to higher levels. The river is 26ft. above summer level, and is still rising. Roads are blocked, bridges being under water.

The State Meteorologist says that floods are likely on all coastal rivers, as further heavy falls are expected.

The floods in tho Windsor and Richmond districts have driven scores of people from their homes, which are submerged from three to fifteen feet.
