IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.
EMPIRE PROBLEMS.
RAISED BY IRISH FREE STATE
LONDON, Sunday,
There arc Hints that the Irish Free State Government has already raised embarrassing problems for the Imperial Constitutional Conference, especially in relation to the Royal assent to Dominion Bills.
Thojugh this right is hardly likely to be exercised nowadays, there apparently is a majority disinclined to remove this safeguard. It is understood that the discussion has reached such a delicate stage that Mr McGilligan has returned to Dublin to consult the Cabinet.
It is also suggested that Ireland has revised the-1926 claims to separate the mercantile marine flag.—A. an d N.Z. P.A.
