SYDNEY MATCHES. SYDNEY, Sunday. For first grade cricket matches, the wickets were damp and tricky. Batting for Balmain against Mosman, Jackson made 67; for Gordon against University, Macartney made 57 and retired, having hurt his leg, and Keßeway made 50; for St. George against North Sydney, Fairfax scored 47. Bowling for Paddington against Jbverly, Bcttington took seven wicker for 68.
