SUNDAY VISIT OBJECTED TO. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Friday. A lively discussion took place at a meeting of the Mid-Canterbury Executive of the Farmers’ Union over the fact that the Tasmanian farmers were scheduled to spend only Sunday in this district-. It- is suggested that the visitors inspect the Government experimental farm in the morning and motor through the county in the afternoon. An objection was raised to Sunday trips, a motion of protest being moved and seconded.
