SPARKING IN THE PARK.

(To the Editor). Sir, —Who is “Spectre,” your correspondent of last evening, anyhow, that writes such a sarcastic letter? Whilst he was on the job he might as well have mentioned that the electric light that has just been fixed around the oval would come in handy to light up the bowsers, and that the fernery be dismantled and turned into a rest room for motorists; also that the Hospital is so convenient in case of accidents; and also that the councillors could, in their spare time, act as attendants. I am sure, if “Spectre,” instead of writing sarcastic letters, were to turn his pen to something better, lie could write a good letter. —I am, etc., MOTORIST.
