Mr Cookj tlie miner’s secretary, is receiving so many threatening letters that lie is seeking counsel’s advice. The latest is from Gates Head and delivered on Ninas Eve. It stated: “I give you a month to hand in your resignation; otherwise I will shoot you like a cur. You are to get out and let the masters and men get on with the work of repairing the damage you have done.” —Sun.
