WAIRARAPA v. NOMADS. GOOD STAND BY VISITORS. At the conclusion of yesterday after-' noon's play, the position in the cricket match, Wairarapa v. New Zealand Nomads, was that Wairarapa scored 266 in their first innings, and the Nomads had two wickets down for So. The mate'll was resumed at 11 o'clock this morning, the not out men, W. I. Bunny and B. O. Talbot, taking up the batting. Despite the fact that seven bowlers® were tried by Wairarapa, Bunny and Talbot remained unbeaten at the luncheon adjournment. Talbot reached his century shortly before the adjournment, but Bunny still required one run to complete his century when he faced Benner in the last over. No real chance was given Itv either batsman, although -Bunny lifted one dangerously near the slips. The match is being continued this afternoon.
