LEE—WRIGLEY. A wedding of local interest “was celebrated in Knox Church this morning, when Gordon, only soil of Mr and Mrs B. TV. Leo, ‘‘Braeniar,” Weraiti, was married to Gladys, eldest daughter of -Mr and Mrs W. L. Wrigley, “Ruakaiva,” Bidcford. The Rev. J. Davie officiated, and Mr E. C. Glen presided at. the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in a sleeveless frock of silver lace over deep cream mariette, with a pleated bodice. The train of cream mariette embroidered in silver was caught with a posy of orange blossoms on the shoulder. Her veil of fine fulle was embroidered and arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms and pearls. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bridesmaids were -Miss Mary Wrigley (chief), -Miss Bessie Shaw and Miss Ellen Wrigley, who wore salmon pink frocks with double skirt and four panels of siive rlaee. They wore silver shoes and headbands of pink and mauve, and carried bouquets to tone. Miss Xola Bannister and Tliss Barbara Napier, cousins of the bride, who were flowergirls, wore dainty frocks of salmon pink, with pleated skirt and tucked bodices, trimmed with tiny posies; they carried silver baskets of 'flowers. Mr L. Wrigley acted as best mail, and Mr TV. Hav (Wellington) and Mr F. Shaw as groomsmen. Afterwards a reception was held in the Municipal Hall, where the usual toasts wore honoured. The bride and bridegroom left by ear for a motor tour of the North .'lsland. The bride’s travelling frock was of mushroom pink crepe <ie chine, worn under a black coat and fur. WALKER—GRANT. Knox Presbyterian Church, Masterton, was the scene of a very pretty ceremony yesterday, on the occasion of the wedding of Tliss Doris Margaret Walker, only daughter of Mr and Mrs James Walker, to Tlr Ronald Johnstone Grant, eldest son of Tlr and Mrs Alex. Grant. The Rev. Davie officiated. Piper dins. Macdonald played the bridal party into the church. The bride wore ivory crepe de chine and lace, with a veil of tulle and orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of cream roses, lilies and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Tliss Mary Brown, who wore peach georgette trimmed with lace, and Miss Gladys Grant, who wore pink georgette trimmed with guipure lace; the bridesmaids carried bouquets toned to match their dresses. Tliss Beta Savege, of Wellington, acted as flower girl, and wore cornllower blue over crepe de chine, and carried a basket of flowers. Tlr Frank Walker, brother of the bride, was best man, and Tlr Robert Harris was groomsman. After the ceremony a- reception was held in the Orange Hall, Bannister street, when a very large number of friends foregathered. The guests were received by Mrs James Walker, who wore mauve crepe de chine and cream lace, and Mrs Alex Grant, who wore jade green crepe de chine and a black satin coat. A very liappv time was spent, and in the afternoon the happy couple left for the south.
